Elephanta Caves:
Begin your tour with a ferry ride to Elephanta Island to visit the Elephanta Caves. This group of cave monuments is dedicated to Buddhism and Shaivism (Lord Shiva) and dates back to the 2nd century AD or earlier. Enjoy a toy train ride to the caves, and explore them with a guided tour. You can also browse the small stalls on the island for souvenirs.

Gateway Of India: Return to mainland Mumbai on a ferry and visit the iconic Gateway of India. This 20th-century arched monument was built as a ceremonial entrance for British rulers in India. Marvel at the stone latticework, turrets, and other architectural details. This structure commemorates the arrival of King George V and Queen Mary to India.
Café Irani Chai: Take a break and enjoy light refreshments and fresh Indian cookies at Café Irani Chai.
Haji Ali Mosque: Visit the Haji Ali Mosque, a famous pilgrimage site located on the islet of Worli. Admire the Indo-Islamic architecture of this 15th-century monument and walk along the narrow causeway over the ocean to reach the mosque. If your visit coincides with a religious ceremony or Friday, you can experience Sufi musicians playing traditional sacred music.
Prince of Wales Museum: Explore the Prince of Wales Museum, also known as the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya. This museum boasts a grand collection of artifacts spanning genres such as natural history, archaeology, and art. Highlights include miniature collections, paintings, manuscripts of the Ramayana, ivory exhibits, metalwork, and ornaments from the Indus Valley Civilization.
Mani Bhawan: Visit Mani Bhawan, also known as the Gandhi Museum. This building was once the headquarters for Gandhi political activities. In 1955, it became a museum showcasing exhibits such as photo galleries, Gandhi room, paintings depicting his life, spinning wheels, and more.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus: Visit the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, formerly known as Victoria Terminus. This busy train station is a heritage site known for its Victorian Gothic Revival architecture.
